TRANSPORT POLICY
TLD Limited shall ensure that all vehicles / equipment used on company business comply with relevant standards and shall be operated by authorized personnel. Also all accidents, near misses, etc. must be reported, investigated and corrective action applied..


DRUGS AND ALCOHOL POLICY
TLD Limited is committed to recognizing alcohol or drug dependence as treatable condition. Employees who have an alcohol or drug dependence shall be encouraged to seek medical advice and to follow treatment. Therefore, TLD Limited will assist employees to obtain treatment. Employees who seek such help will not jeopardize their employment although work may be considered. It is strictly prohibited for an employee to be at work whist impaired by drugs or alcohol and also to possess, use, distribute or sell alcohol or illegal drugs on company business and work locations..


SMOKING POLICY
TLD Limited strictly prohibit the smoking of cigarettes, cigars or pipes in all Client’s locations. The smoking of cigarettes, cigars or pipes is also prohibited in TLD offices, meeting rooms and public places.


EMERGENCY RESPONSE POLICY
TLD Limited shall effectively respond to any emergency which threatens Health / Safety of people, environment and TLD / Client’s equipment / facilities.

Our emergency response policy is geared towards the following:

  • Saving Life.
  • Caring for the injured.
  • Protecting the Environment.
  • Limiting damage to TLD / Client’s Equipment / facilities.
  • Etc.
TLD Limited shall carry out emergency response activities in close liaison with Client, appropriate Government / industry organizations and with host communities.

WASTE MANAGEMENT POLICY
TLD Limited shall plan and carry out her activities in such a manner to ensure the following: Practical and cost effective measures are employed to reduce generation of wastes through efficient work procedures, good house keeping, etc. The hazards associated with wastes are reduced by ensuring that wastes are managed and disposed of in an environmentally acceptable manner.

Waste management practices fully comply with Nigerian regulations. Waste management issues shall be given due consideration during all HSE inspections of any work site. All waste generated on site shall be kept properly in designated area using standard materials and disposed properly following local and client legislation. Waste shall be moved to approved dump site using waste management tracking system and documentation shall be kept for reference purposes.
